To determine which CFD models are most suitable, validation studies are required.
Therefore, the objective of this simulation is validate a 3D steady RANS simulation of cross-ventilation using OpenFoam (SimScale)
The validation is based on the velocity parameter

Pipes in Oil and Gas Industries are widely exposed to higher temperatures and pressures which might lead to blowouts. In order to prevent pipe breakage due to blowouts, closing and sealing of pipes is of high necessity. For this, the pipes are Simulated for Nonlinear case with larger deflections and contacts using two flat stiff indentors.

NACA2408 Aerofoil Spoiler Basic CFD Analysis

The purpose of this project is to investigate and mitigate Vortex Shedding around a 50-story tall building at high wind speeds of 45 m/s. The building is 150 m tall and has a fixed square cross base of 20 x 20 m. Two designs are analysed, initially with sharp-corners and the optimized with Corner Softening using rounded-corners. To study the dynamic effects of wind loading, a Transient analysis with Incompressible Turbulent flow is performed.

This project aims to obtain the airflow inside two design alternatives for an HVAC system of a theater room. Convective heat transfer simulation is used to obtain the flow pattern inside the room. Thermal comfort parameters such as PMV (Predicted Mean Vote) and PPD (Predicted Percentage of Dissatisfied) are obtained along with the mean age of fluid.

This project demonstrates the static stress analysis of three aircraft engine bearing bracket models considering both linear and nonlinear material definition. The models used in this analysis are taken from GrabCAD users who were the winners of GrabCAD 'Airplane Bearing Bracket Challenge'. The models are tested with horizontal and vertical loading conditions as provided on the challenge page of GrabCAD.

This project includes the shell and tube heat exchanger simulation using the conjugate heat transfer technique, abbreviated as CHT. Conjugate heat transfer defines processes which involve variations of temperature in solids and fluids due to thermal interactions.
